What happened: Bookings are open for a lion meet-and-greet tied to an upcoming game-day appearance. Fans were invited to lock in the experience immediately.

Why it matters: The promotion adds an off-ice attraction to upcoming dates during the NHL preseason calendar. It points to fan-engagement activity rather than a roster or competition development.

What to watch: Watch for whether similar game-day promotions are added later in the preseason.
