Louis Domingue signs with HC Bolzano in Italy

Veteran goalie brings 144 NHL games to the ICEHL club

Wire Report IntelligenceUpdated Jul 311 min read

What happened: The 34-year-old goaltender heads back to Europe after finishing 2025-26 on a two-way deal with Florida. His previous overseas stint included 11 KHL appearances for Sibir Novosibirsk.

Why it matters: Bolzano adds an experienced option in net for the upcoming 2026-27 campaign. The move takes Domingue out of the NHL and AHL depth market.

By the numbers: Domingue owns a 61-60-10 record, .906 save percentage and 3.01 goals-against average across 144 NHL games.

What to watch: Bolzano opens its ICEHL season Sept. 18, when Domingue's place in the goalie rotation should become clearer.
