What happened: Dallas Cowboys safety Malik Hooker backed defensive coordinator Christian Parker during a recent interview. The veteran specifically highlighted the staff's ability to manage live situations.

Why it matters: The public vote of confidence arrives during a difficult stretch for a unit that ranks 32nd in key metrics since the Micah Parsons trade. Internal support for Parker indicates the locker room remains aligned with the defensive structure despite recent on-field struggles.

What to watch: Dallas continues its regular-season schedule as the defensive unit attempts to translate schematic changes into defensive stops.
