What happened: Marc Cucurella addressed his future in an interview with Partidazo de COPE, stating he is happy where he is and has instructed his camp not to inform him of transfer developments. He dismissed questions regarding interest from Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, choosing to focus on Spain's upcoming World Cup campaign.

Why it matters: Both Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are reportedly in the market for defensive reinforcements, with Cucurella identified as a key target. His decision to delay talks ensures his focus remains on the national team as they prepare to defend their status on the world stage.

What to watch: Spain faces Cape Verde on June 15 in Atlanta to begin their World Cup campaign. Expect transfer discussions to intensify following the conclusion of the tournament in July.
