What happened: Live coverage streams simultaneously across ESPN+ and the ESPN App as Barcelona and Real Madrid meet in their October 25 fixture.

Why it matters: Placing the match on over-the-air U.S. network television broadens domestic distribution beyond subscription-only streaming tiers. Head-to-head results between the two clubs carry direct weight in the domestic table and tiebreaker standings.

What to watch: Full-time results from the Sunday meeting will set the immediate pace in the domestic standings before both clubs turn to upcoming league and European fixtures.
