What happened: Mark DeRosa highlighted William Contreras for his contributions on both sides of the ball in Game 1. DeRosa noted that the Milwaukee Brewers catcher has established his presence on the postseason stage.

Why it matters: Dual-threat production behind the plate and in the lineup gives the Milwaukee Brewers a steady anchor in October. Managing the pitching staff while contributing at the plate remains central to the club's postseason run as the Milwaukee Brewers lead the series 1-0.

What to watch: The next game of the series is scheduled with the score at 0-0 and has not started yet.
