What happened: Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur answered 'I sure hope so' when asked whether Micah Parsons will practice next week, per Rob Demovsky and Adam Schefter. The comment marks a shift after LaFleur previously gave a hard no on Parsons practicing while the pass rusher sat out Week 7 workouts.

Why it matters: Parsons' return would bolster a Green Bay defense managing an injury to linebacker Edgerrin Cooper ahead of the Nov. 10 trade deadline. Drafted 12th overall out of Penn State by the Dallas Cowboys in 2021, Parsons recorded 41 tackles and 12.5 sacks across 14 games for the Packers in 2025, per ESPN.

By the numbers: Green Bay holds a 4-3 record and the No. 7 seed on a one-game losing streak after falling 20-17 at the Detroit Lions on Oct. 25.

What to watch: Watch Green Bay's upcoming practice reports next week to see whether Parsons is cleared to return to on-field workouts.
