What happened: Drake Maye, speaking at his FlexWorkSports youth camp, said he already has some chemistry with A.J. Brown. Maye described the connection simply: throw it near Brown and he'll make a play.

Why it matters: The comments extend a string of offseason updates on the Maye-Brown pairing since Brown's arrival, building toward how the two look once training camp reps begin. Maye's own trade value was pegged at 6 of 7 among NFL quarterbacks by Bill Barnwell this week, adding stakes to how quickly his top target chemistry develops.

What to watch: Patriots training camp is the next checkpoint to see the Maye-Brown connection tested in live reps.
