What happened: McLaren's front wing at the Brazilian Grand Prix is an all-new design, per Chris Medland. It is also set to appear on the team's 2027 launch car. The wing is for use this weekend, and Medland reports it will race if it performs well today.

Why it matters: McLaren is the only team with upgrades for the weekend, with a new rear wing, beam wing and floor furniture alongside the front wing. A wing planned for the 2027 launch car gives the team an early test of next year's concept, with handling issues expected to linger until 2027.

By the numbers: Norris finished fifth in Mexico City, where the top four were Verstappen, Hamilton, Antonelli and Leclerc.

What to watch: Watch whether McLaren keeps the wing on the car for the race after today's running.
