What happened: Sean McVay called the full offense together midway through the Philadelphia game for a direct challenge, per Lindsey Thiry. Thiry described the move as out of character for the Los Angeles coach.

Why it matters: The exchange preceded Los Angeles closing out Philadelphia in a one-score game with conference positioning at stake. The intervention offers an early measure of how McVay plans to manage offensive lapses.

What to watch: Watch whether Los Angeles carries cleaner offensive execution into its next outing.
