What happened: Yaxel Lendeborg, Morez Johnson Jr. and Aday Mara reunited at the NBA Rookie Photoshoot, per the league's own account. The three won a national championship together at Michigan before entering this year's draft.

Why it matters: The reunion comes as each begins a separate rookie track on a different roster. Lendeborg was already in Mara's corner days earlier, cheering him on from a Summer League sideline.

What to watch: All three are expected to see more Summer League floor time before training camps open for the 2026-27 season.
