What happened: Asked whether he plans to deploy the Hack-A-Mitch intentional-foul tactic, Mike Brown said he did not know and noted he has never really used that approach.

Why it matters: Intentional off-ball fouling is designed to exploit poor free-throw shooting and force lineup adjustments, but coaches frequently avoid the tactic to protect their own rotations from team foul trouble and penalty situations.

What to watch: Fourth-quarter foul management and frontcourt substitution patterns will dictate whether Brown deviates from his standard defensive coverage.
