What happened: Jason La Canfora of Casino.org identified Gardner Minshew as the most obvious quarterback available to QB-needy rosters. Arizona carries Jacoby Brissett as starter with Minshew second and rookie Carson Beck still recovering from a rib injury.

Why it matters: Arizona dropped to 36-24 against New York after failing on four plays from the 4-yard line. Brissett entered that game with 4 touchdowns against 1 interception and exited with 4 interceptions, leaving a deal to hinge on an untested rookie backup.

By the numbers: Brissett: 652 yards, 117 attempts, 5.6 YPA before Giants game, now ranked No.20; Minshew: 63 games, 47 starts on $5.75M backup deal; deadline Nov.10 at 4pm ET.

What to watch: Watch Beck's recovery to QB2 and whether Tampa Bay or another injury-hit QB room calls before Nov. 10.
