WNBA

the most points by a duo over a 10-game span in WNBA history 🔥 Kelsey Mitchell (27.9 PPG) and Caitlin Clark (23.7 PPG)

What happened: Caitlin Clark averaged 23.7 points per game over the stretch. Mitchell accounted for 279 points, 42 more than Clark's 237.

Why it matters: The record pairs two scorers averaging at least 23 points over the same 10-game window. Clark's suspension now interrupts that combination.

By the numbers: Mitchell produced 54.1% of the duo's points, with Clark contributing 45.9%. Their scoring averages were separated by 4.2 points per game.

What to watch: Mitchell's production without Clark will be the next measure of whether the scoring pace can hold.
