What happened: Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell emphasized patience following the team's opening stretch of the season. Mitchell stated that nothing is won in the first 10 games as the group navigated an even start. His comments reinforced a measured approach during the early stages of the regular season.

Why it matters: Cleveland's core continuity centers on Mitchell, who finalized a maximum extension with the franchise in July. Establishing early poise remains vital in an Eastern Conference race where securing a top-six playoff seed demands sustained consistency. Managing physical and mental demands over an 82-game schedule dictates whether the roster peaks at the right time.

What to watch: Cleveland looks to push above .500 as its November regular-season schedule continues.
