What happened: Milan Momcilovic, a transfer from Iowa State, scored 24 points in his Kentucky debut. He shot 8-of-12 from the field and 6-of-9 from three-point range in 28 minutes.

Why it matters: Momcilovic arrives at Kentucky after his time at Iowa State, and the opening night shooting line sets an early scoring benchmark for his first season with the Wildcats.

What to watch: Kentucky's next game will show whether Momcilovic can sustain that shooting as opponents adjust.
