What happened: Monroe Freeling and the offensive line have begun their Day 1 transition period. The 19th overall pick out of Georgia enters his rookie training camp facing an immediate workload.

Why it matters: The accelerated timeline follows news that Taylor Moton will miss the start of the year. Head coach Dave Canales previously indicated the rookie could secure a Week 1 starting job.

By the numbers: Moton yielded just three sacks in 558 snaps last season.

What to watch: Coaches will evaluate the right tackle rotation as full-contact practices commence.
