What happened: Enrique Freeman turned 26 on Wednesday.

Why it matters: The date comes less than a month after Freeman re-signed on a two-way deal for 2026-27. The contract keeps him on a split NBA-G League track.

By the numbers: Freeman averaged 17.6 points and 8.9 rebounds across 28 G League games in 2025-26.

What to watch: Training camp will provide the next indication of his role for the upcoming season.
