What happened: The NFL launched fan polling for the Week 8 Rookie of the Week honors on Tuesday. Candidates tied to the Kansas City Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders, and Denver Broncos were put forward for the weekly vote.

Why it matters: The selection highlights young contributors navigating a competitive stretch in the AFC West. Denver holds second in the AFC with a 6-2 record following a 28-24 win over the 5-2 Chiefs, while Las Vegas sits at 4-4.
