What happened: On Nightcap, Shannon Sharpe discussed Irving's reported interest in the Miami Heat and said he did not think a move was imminent. Joe Johnson said he would welcome Irving in Miami.

Why it matters: Johnson argued that Irving's ability to create his own shot and attack the paint would help Miami's veteran players. The hosts also considered how his arrival could change other players' roles.

What to watch: A concrete move would determine whether Miami faces the lineup choices the hosts discussed.
