What happened: On Nightcap, Shannon Sharpe criticized Bryce Young for taking a sack on Carolina's final play with no timeouts left. Chad Johnson countered that Young had faced pressure throughout the game and had little room to escape.

Why it matters: Johnson said Carolina's deep routes took too long to develop against Green Bay's blitzes. Sharpe also questioned the space Panthers defenders gave receivers on third down.

What to watch: Carolina's next game will test whether its pass protection and defensive spacing improve.
