What happened: Ollie Bearman momentarily parked his Haas at Turn 3 during Friday practice at the Mexico City Grand Prix before quickly getting back underway. Teammate Esteban Ocon reported a power steering failure during the same session. The issues disrupted running for the American outfit at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.

Why it matters: The mechanical setbacks cost Haas valuable setup time at high altitude ahead of qualifying. The session follows recent intra-team tension after Haas teammates Bearman and Ocon battled on track in Singapore as the team fights for midfield position.

What to watch: Haas will examine Ocon's steering rack ahead of Saturday's final practice and qualifying.
