What happened: Terms were finalized days after his release ended a brief return to New York. The exit turned public after he said the club used him as a publicity stunt.

Why it matters: New York reshaped its receiver room earlier this offseason with JuJu Smith-Schuster, reducing snaps for returning veterans. Beckham, the 12th overall pick in 2014 out of LSU, now gets a fresh path to active-roster elevation elsewhere.

What to watch: Watch for practice participation and whether he is elevated to the game-day roster.
