What happened: Coverage airs on IFAFMedia's YouTube channel Aug. 13-14. DAZN takes worldwide streaming Aug. 15-16, with the gold medal games also available through the NFL.

Why it matters: The event begins the two-year qualification pathway for flag football's Olympic debut in 2028. Only six teams per gender will reach the Los Angeles field.

By the numbers: Sixteen men's teams and 16 women's teams are entered; the top two eligible finishers in each draw secure Olympic places.

What to watch: Pool play begins Aug. 13, with medal rounds building to Sunday's finals.
