What happened: Jeremiah McClellan went through pregame work in full uniform and caught passes with Oregon before kickoff. By game time, he was on the sideline in street clothes with a walking boot on his left foot and crutches.

Why it matters: McClellan had opened the season as a productive vertical target, with seven catches for 170 yards and a touchdown through two games. His absence adds pressure to Oregon's receiver rotation heading into a Week 4 matchup with USC.

What to watch: The next formal update is likely to come on Wednesday's Big Ten availability report. Oregon then turns to its Week 4 game against USC.
