What happened: Evan Stewart was arrested early Sunday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants. Springfield police booked him into Springfield Municipal Jail at 7 a.m. and he was later released. Oregon athletics said it is aware of the incident and is gathering information.

Why it matters: Stewart had been downgraded to doubtful for Oregon's game against Nebraska. His availability now rests on team and legal process before further roster decisions. Oregon sits in the middle of its conference schedule with receiver depth already tested.

What to watch: Next is an update from Oregon on Stewart's status and any team action. Court and program developments will determine availability.
