What happened: Orlovsky placed Carolina's starter in the top five among NFL quarterbacks. The assessment landed after Carolina beat Detroit in Week 4.

Why it matters: Top-five standing sets a higher standard for Carolina's offense the rest of the way. Sustaining it would reinforce the franchise-quarterback footing established this week.

What to watch: Carolina's health updates ahead of Philadelphia are the next indicator to track.
