What happened: The Indiana Pacers face an extreme roster crunch heading into Monday's matchup with only six functional players available. Kelly Oubre Jr. is sidelined due to a bruised left knee as injuries continue to deplete the rotation. Indiana is dressing injured players strictly to meet the league's active roster minimum.

Why it matters: The shortage leaves Indiana stretched thin across 48 minutes with virtually no depth off the bench. Coming off a 98-90 loss to Brooklyn, the 2-5 Pacers face immediate structural hurdles trying to remain competitive during this early-season stretch.

What to watch: The Pacers host the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night, with tipoff scheduled for 7:30 PM ET at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
