What happened: On this day a year ago, Pascal Siakam scored a game-high 31 points and was named Eastern Conference Finals MVP, capping the Indiana Pacers' run through the East. The team resurfaced the moment in an anniversary post. The clip is a throwback, not a current-game result.

Why it matters: The award marked the high point of Siakam's first full postseason as the Pacers' lead option after his midseason arrival, validating Indiana's bet on him as a playoff centerpiece. Anniversary markers like this underscore how quickly the franchise climbed back into the conference's top tier.

What to watch: Watch how Indiana builds on that run heading into the next campaign, with Siakam again expected to anchor the rotation.
