What happened: Per Marc J. Spears, the Indiana forward traces his off-court goals and service mindset directly to Tchamo Siakam's influence. The school project in Cameroon follows local community stops that saw Siakam join Quinn Buckner in the Pacers Playroom earlier this month.

Why it matters: The Mays Family Institute on Diverse Philanthropy also hosted Siakam and PS43 Foundation Executive Director Dakota Whyte to spotlight his charitable work. Sustaining initiatives across Cameroon and Indiana pairs his foundation's outreach with his veteran role on the Pacers roster.

What to watch: Indiana is scheduled for a 7:00 PM ET tipoff on Wednesday, Oct. 28.
