What happened: San Diego returned RHP Walker Buehler from the postseason paternity list on Oct. 5. RHP Randy Vasquez leaves the active NLDS roster in the corresponding move after holding Buehler's roster spot during the absence.

Why it matters: The exchange restores San Diego's original NLDS pitching mix for the remainder of the series. Active postseason roster spots control game-to-game availability, so the move resets rotation and bullpen options.

What to watch: Watch San Diego's next NLDS lineup card for Buehler's role and availability.
