What happened: Carolina will wear blue for the opener and its Week 7 and Week 14 divisional matchups. Black is set for six games, including the Week 4 prime-time date and the final two regular-season games.

Why it matters: The rotation leaves white out of home games for the full regular season. The alternate blue jersey appears in three of Carolina's nine home dates.

By the numbers: White accounts for 8 of 17 games (47.1%), black for 6 (35.3%) and blue for 3 (17.6%).

What to watch: Pants and sock colors will be announced closer to each game.
