What happened: Jeff Passan's framework sends Logan Henderson, Josh Adamczewski and Ricki Moneys to Detroit. Skubal would join Jacob Misiorowski atop Milwaukee's rotation.

Why it matters: Milwaukee is chasing its first World Series title in 58 seasons. Detroit entered deadline week six games below .500 and three games behind the final AL wild card.

By the numbers: ESPN ranked Skubal No. 1 among 100 trade candidates and assigned him a 60% chance of moving. He has won consecutive AL Cy Young Awards and can become a free agent after 2026.

What to watch: Detroit's decision on Skubal could set the price for the starting-pitching market. Clubs have until Monday evening to complete deals.
