What happened: Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who also cleared the Week 3 injury report earlier this season, practiced in full on Friday and carries no injury designation into Week 6 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Kansas City returns from its bye week to face a winless 0-5 division rival.

Why it matters: Mahomes has recorded at least two touchdown passes in all four appearances during the 2026 regular season. That consistent offensive production has carried a Chiefs roster that currently ranks last in the NFL with a 2.5 percent sack rate ahead of the November 10 trade deadline.
