What happened: Inclement weather forced the postponement of Friday's scheduled ALCS contest after the Cleveland Guardians and Tampa Bay Rays met in Game 3. The rescheduled fourth game is slated for an 8 p.m. ET start on Saturday, per Jeff Passan and Zack Meisel.

Why it matters: The delay compresses the middle portion of the series calendar by eliminating a travel or off-day buffer. Both pitching staffs and bullpens receive an extra 24 hours of recovery before taking the field for the pivotal postseason matchup.

What to watch: Both clubs will confirm any rotation or lineup adjustments ahead of Saturday night's 8 p.m. ET first pitch.
