What happened: The New England Patriots activated offensive tackle Marcus Bryant to the 53-man roster from injured reserve on Tuesday and released cornerback Kindle Vildor. New England also signed linebacker Elias Neal to the practice squad while releasing wide receiver Cameron Dorner and guard Jake Kubas.

Why it matters: Bryant restores depth to the offensive front after missing time on injured reserve with an ankle issue. Vildor departs after the Patriots previously moved to utilize Kindle Vildor with four cornerbacks out during secondary depth shortages in October.

By the numbers: Vildor recorded 7 tackles in 2026 through 5 games for New England, while the Patriots stand at 5-3 through 8 games in the 2026 regular season.

What to watch: Bryant rejoins active practice preparations as the Patriots move into Week 10 ahead of the Nov. 10 trade deadline.
