What happened: The five-player unit lists Astier at No. 18. The selection follows another start on Aug. 1.

Why it matters: The continued role provides lineup continuity during the August stretch of the regular season. Each appearance gives Astier more time in a prominent rotation spot before postseason rotations tighten.

By the numbers: Astier reached 250 points through 27 games by July 29, an average of 9.3 points per appearance.

What to watch: Watch Astier's minutes and distribution in the Aug. 9 game and whether the unit remains intact next time out.
