What happened: Sean Payton addressed Bo Nix's 62-yard touchdown run postgame. Payton said the run answers the question of whether Nix can still run. Payton said Denver had waited for Nix to cut it loose and encouraged him to do so.

Why it matters: Nix's mobility is a central part of Denver's offense alongside his passing. Denver drafted Nix 12th overall in 2024 out of Oregon. His willingness to run adds another element for defenses to account for.

What to watch: Watch whether Nix continues to run when lanes open in upcoming games. Denver's play-calling on quarterback runs bears watching.
