What happened: The New Orleans Pelicans pushed their winning streak to four games following Wednesday's 120-113 victory over the Utah Jazz. The win leveled the club's mark at 4-4 through eight games after dropping their first three contests of the 2026-27 season.

Why it matters: The four-game surge moves New Orleans into the 10th seed in the Western Conference standings. Rebounding to .500 stabilizes the roster following an unsettled opening week that prompted external trade speculation around core rotation pieces.

What to watch: New Orleans will look to push past .500 and extend its winning streak as the Western Conference regular-season slate continues.
