What happened: Pro Football Focus pointed to Christian Watson's playmaking return on targets Saturday during the 2026 NFL regular season. The Green Bay receiver hauled in his fourth touchdown of the campaign in late September before fueling the club's downfield passing attack through mid-October.

Why it matters: Sustained target efficiency validates Green Bay's offseason push to feature Watson as a high-volume No. 1 option. Per ESPN (as of Sept. 29, 2026), the 2022 second-round pick (34th overall out of North Dakota State) caught 35 passes for 611 yards and six touchdowns in 10 games during the 2025 season.

What to watch: Watson's target share and vertical production remain central to Green Bay's passing attack as the schedule moves toward November.
