Injury report ahead of our matchup against the Bulls. AJ Dybantsa (left ankle sprain) - Out Tristan Vukčević (left hip Via @WashWizards on X

What happened: Washington listed AJ Dybantsa (left ankle sprain), Tristan Vukcevic (left hip impingement), and Jamir Watkins (left ACL surgery) as out for Saturday's game against the Chicago Bulls. Watkins underwent surgery Thursday to repair a torn ACL, while Vukcevic is scheduled to be re-evaluated in four weeks.

Why it matters: Dybantsa has now missed Washington's opening matchups against Milwaukee and Toronto while recovering from his ankle injury on a day-to-day basis. The frontcourt absences test Washington's rotation depth on the second night of a back-to-back set after rookie center Felix Okpara was cleared on Friday.

By the numbers: Chicago and Washington both enter Saturday at 1-1; the Bulls defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 132-125 on Friday, while the Wizards lost 112-102 to the Toronto Raptors.

What to watch: Washington will continue to evaluate Dybantsa on a day-to-day timeline following Saturday's contest in Chicago.
