What happened: Kaden Elliss and Minkah Fitzpatrick were recognized among the most undervalued acquisitions of the 2026 NFL offseason by Pro Football Focus. The evaluation identified veterans positioned to significantly impact their new rosters without generating major headlines.

Why it matters: The recognition underscores the value both players are expected to bring to their respective defensive units. Fitzpatrick arrives via trade to anchor his new secondary, while Elliss returns to a familiar scheme to fortify the linebacker rotation.

By the numbers: Elliss ranked in the top 12 among linebackers in Wins Above Replacement over the previous two campaigns.

What to watch: Training camp will provide the first look at how both veterans integrate into their new defensive systems ahead of the 2026 campaign.
