What happened: PFF published updated quarterback rankings for the 2026 regular season. Jared Goff, Jordan Love and Drake Maye moved up, while Sam Darnold, Bo Nix and Justin Herbert moved down.

Why it matters: The split separates early risers from quarterbacks losing ground six weeks into the season. Love and Maye earned top PFF marks this week, adding context to their upward movement.

By the numbers: 2025 season: Jared Goff 4,564 yards, 34 TD, 8 INT; Drake Maye 4,394 yards, 31 TD, 8 INT; Bo Nix 3,931 yards, 25 TD, 11 INT; Jordan Love 3,381 yards, 23 TD, 6 INT in 15 games.

What to watch: The next update will show whether the three risers hold separation through the Week 6 results.
