What happened: A Phillies fan joke circulated Thursday as Philadelphia headed into Game 3 of its series with Atlanta. The club split the first two games, including a wild win in Game 2.

Why it matters: The timing lands in October, when postseason baseball pulls in casual attention alongside die-hard fans. With the series even, every swing in Game 3 carries immediate leverage.

What to watch: Aaron Nola is set to start Thursday night with the series tied. Game 3 will decide which side grabs the edge going deeper into the matchup.
