What happened: The Phillies are urging fans to send Kyle Schwarber to the All-Star Game, posting a voting link on the club's account. The promotion lands as Schwarber continues to anchor one of the National League's most productive lineups.

Why it matters: Schwarber has been among the league's top power threats this season, making him a natural centerpiece of Philadelphia's ballot campaign. His bat has carried stretches of the Phillies' offense, and a starting nod would reward the same red-hot Schwarber who has kept launching home runs.

What to watch: Watch the All-Star ballot updates to see whether Schwarber climbs into a starting spot before voting closes.
