What happened: Pat Murphy recounted the exchange to Harold Reynolds on MLB Network, noting how the Philadelphia slugger reached out directly after facing the hard-throwing right-hander earlier this season.

Why it matters: Earning immediate respect from a premier power hitter who led MLB in home runs this September highlighted how quickly Misiorowski's arsenal played against elite big-league lineups. That June dominance foreshadowed the swing-and-miss ceiling he has carried into the October postseason.

What to watch: Misiorowski remains a focal point on the mound as the World Series begins, while the Phillies navigate their offseason roster decisions following a wild-card exit.
