What happened: PSG have reached a personal agreement with RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande, who is said to favor a move to Paris, but the two clubs remain apart on a transfer fee. PSG already have terms agreed with Bradley Barcola, and reporting indicates the squad's attacking depth is the sticking point holding up further business.

Why it matters: Bringing in Diomande would crowd an already deep PSG forward line and push the question of Barcola's playing time, and potentially his exit, to the front. Leipzig feel emboldened to demand a premium given Liverpool's competing interest in Diomande, leaving Paris to decide how high they will go.

What to watch: Watch whether PSG raise their offer to satisfy Leipzig's valuation, and whether completing a Diomande deal forces a Barcola departure this window.
