What happened: Paris Saint-Germain have placed AS Monaco striker Folarin Balogun on their shortlist to replace Gonçalo Ramos, whose move to AC Milan is now confirmed, per Foot Mercato. Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are also credited with interest in the 24-year-old United States international. No official contact has been made between PSG and the player's camp so far.

Why it matters: Ramos's exit opens a center-forward vacancy in the Parisian attack, and Balogun's profile fits the mobile, all-around striker the club is targeting. For Monaco, who must offload high-value assets to balance their books, a sale could be palatable despite a contract running to 2028. A move would also pit PSG against two Premier League suitors for the former Arsenal forward.

What to watch: Watch whether PSG convert monitoring into a formal approach, and whether Chelsea or Tottenham move first while Monaco weigh which assets to cash in this window.
