What happened: PuckPedia pointed to PuckGM, a fan-built contract simulator, after users logged 126 mock signings projecting what Quinn Hughes could sign for if he extends in Minnesota. No formal negotiation details or dollar figures have been confirmed by Hughes, the Wild, or reporters.

Why it matters: Hughes' next contract has been the offseason's central Wild storyline, with market chatter measured against the $20.4 million benchmark set by Cale Makar's deal. Until real numbers surface, crowd-sourced projections like PuckGM's are the only public gauge of where fans think the market lands.

By the numbers: 126 mock signings logged by PuckGM users as of the post.

What to watch: Watch for confirmation once actual extension talks move beyond fan projections and reporting from Hughes' camp or the Wild.
