What happened: Matt Gay finished with a game-high 9 points, while Riley Patterson scored 7 for Miami. Malik Willis said the sacks were on him and that he had to take care of the ball and get it out.

Why it matters: The loss keeps pressure on a Miami offense that is still settling around Willis in live action. His willingness to own the sacks shifts the focus to quicker decisions and better protection the next time the Dolphins take the field.

What to watch: The next read is whether Miami can turn Willis' accountability into a cleaner offensive outing in his next appearance. Las Vegas will try to carry a 27-point finish into its next game.
